Cheryl Meyers

Cheryl Meyers is the founder, US Director and the Chairman of the Kawangware Kids. Cheryl, the owner and CEO of Cascade Health Products lives in Portland, Oregon. When not in Oregon you will find Cheryl in Nairobi where she is actively involved with the kids teaching them computers and how to play basketball.

Luchiri Omoto

Luchiri Omoto lives in Nairobi, Kenya and has been volunteering his time as Kawangware Kids Nairobi Director since August 2016. Luchiri works as a GIS Consultant & Projects Manager at Upande Ltd. Luchiri brings a wealth of Kenyan wisdom to the program and offers invaluable assistance to our students.

Bernard Nyamweya

Bernard is a Food Safety Consultant at Afya Consulting, specializing in Quality and Food Safety systems development and implementation. Though his heart is in Kenya and desires to return there, he is currently living in Baltimore, MD while his wife completes her Master's Degree. Bernard provides a much needed insight to Kenyan educational systems.

David amugune

David, our newest board member, is a beneficiary of the KW kids foundation ,who recently graduated with a Bachelors degree in computer science . David helps in running the day to day activities of the program in Kenya ,he brings in a different a new perspective since he has been part of the program and the system ,thus his insights are helpful.
